Grown on Small Family Farms in Italy

We’ve partnered with small local, organic farmers. It takes 2 lbs. of fresh tomatoes to make 1 jar of Jovial tomatoes so we need more acres for growing. Our 5 year rotation cycle is necessary for optimal organic farming and one of the reasons why our tomatoes taste so much better!

Where are your tomatoes grown?

Our organic tomatoes are vine ripened in the Mediterranean sunshine in Italy.

Do your tomatoes contain seeds and skins?

Our tomatoes are steamed to remove the skin, but they do contain seeds. Small bits of the skin may also remain.

Is this pasta sauce and does it contain sugar or salt?

Our jovial tomatoes are not sauce; they are freshly harvested naturally sweet tomatoes packed within a day of harvest, just like you would do at home with nothing additional added!

How long are they good for after opening?

Refrigerate any unused portion and use within 5-7 days.

What kind of tomatoes are they?

We only use the ripest Roma type plum tomatoes. They are not from San Marzano.
